Saudi Industrial Resins (SIR) manufacturing plant is located at kilo 26 on old Makkah road in Jeddah at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest domestic producer of industrial resins & other synthetic polymers in the Arabian Peninsula. The original plant was completed in 1977 and since that time has undergone several additions to increase capacity as well as rejuvenating infrastructure. The plant is totally self sufficient and provides its own utility generated electric power, chilled and cooling water, low temperature steam, and high temperature heating fluids. The present capacity is 30000 metric tons. Producing four basic products lines each in manufactured in separate reactor or blending vessels. All material produced by SIR are manufactured under license from Ashland chemical company USA. |
